I hope you had a peaceful and safe Easter weekend. I know that many of you have found a way of engaging with worship that suits you but thought it worth repeating the invitation below sent by Phil Brown of Chartham.
His special virtual service for our benefice worked well on Easter Sunday and Phil is prepared to continue these each Sunday at 11 am. We are grateful for this generous offer and simply wanted to make you aware of it.
We found it relatively easy to access and were joined by a handful of others across the benefice. If you would like to take part but are unsure of the technology, please contact me or contact Phil direct.
Best wishes, John
As you know, in light of the government regulations around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued the statement that public worship is suspended until further notice.
We have been exploring ways in which we can carry on together as church, to worship together, as well as keeping in contact through ‘phone and internet.
We held a virtual service Easter Sunday morning and would like to make this a regular Sunday service at 11 am for the Kingswood Benefice.
If you would like to join us, please send your name, e mail and ‘phone contact details to John Willis - e mail firstname.lastname@example.org ‘phone 01227 733803
or to Rev Phil Brown - email email@example.com
‘phone 01227 730141
We hope to set up a meeting online later this week for a trial run and to iron out any problems.
If interested, please get in touch as soon as you can, and an invitation will be sent to you. Please pass this message on to as many people in the community as you can whether church members or not. Whilst all are welcome, due to online security and safety these services are by invitation only with a secure password. Your details will not be shared with anyone other than myself and John.
May God keep you in good health and in good spirits
Best wishes, Phil
